Friend,
Do you have a friend?
Someone you know.
You can trust.
Telling them anything,
And know your secret is safe.
Someone you can hug,
For a shoulder to cry on when you’re blue,
Or have the flu.

Where is yours?
Are they lost,
Drifting off through the clouds,
Or to the moon?
Perhaps distraught from betrayal?

I’d give you my friendship,
Will you let me at yours?
