All that lay before me
Brings my head to ache
Throbbing it seems with the sorrow
Of all the mistakes I’ve made
To leave one behind unwanting now.
Silent invulnerable tears I shed
As only to heal the gap left by all at hand
If only she knew what would be sacrificed
To give my heart and all the treasures I hold

Chills slide through my hand writing words
Words only passing through
As though no thought is given
To what lay on the paper in front of me
The chills shoot through my spine
As I only think of the moment we shared
Only the night before
A night to me as I could show
Show her only what she is missing in her life.
